Sometimes things would get boring in the office. Earl sat in the corner and always wore wide ties. We were not sure if he had them left from the 70’s or the 40’s. So, for some excitement, I planned wide tie day. We told everyone in the office ahead of time except our friend with the wide ties.

Most of us had some left from the 70’s so we all wore them that day. I think that it took Earl a while to figure out what we were doing. But eventually he really enjoyed it. And we got a lot of laughs from the other departments. There is a group picture somewhere. If I find it, I’ll post it.
